Rotaract is at its basic form a junior Rotary club. A grassroots level program of Rotary International that encourages young professionals to create their own local operations, employ the resources of Rotary International and the Rotary International Foundation, and be sponsored by a local Rotary club. There are currently more than 7,600 Rotaract clubs in 158 countries with an estimated membership of over 176,000.
Who is the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh?
With almost 100 members, the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh is made up of talented young professionals who have demonstrated intelligence, integrity, energy, and leadership in their personal and professional lives.
Rotaract meets on every sunday. We also come together at least once a month for a social event, engage in different service project once per quarter, and maintain an ongoing signature service project.
Where does the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh meet?
Meetings are held at Rotary House (RVTC) House No 107, Sector 18-A, Chandigarh. Our socials and service projects showcase various spots around town.

Why does the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh exist?
The Rotaract Club of Chandigarh exists to promote what we believe is a community’s most valuable resource: responsible leadership. This club allows Chandigarh ’s promising young professionals the opportunity to better understand, embody, and promote the characteristics of responsible citizenship and effective leadership.

What is the Rotary Foundation?
The Rotary Foundation provides financial support to the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs. Founded in 1917, the Rotary Foundation has grown from an initial contribution of $26.50 to today annually funding more than $55 million.
